Commander-in-Chief of the ZSU stresses the crucial role of unmanned systems

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi stated that the primary value of the Ukrainian army lies in its people of different ages, genders, and backgrounds united by the goal of defending the nation. The military leadership relies on innovation, technology, and long-range systems to destroy adversary resources. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Protecting the nation is an ongoing effort across generations that demands utmost focus, dedication, and effort during a struggle for existence. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi highlighted this aspect in his address.

The official expressed gratitude to all service members holding front-line positions, carrying out missions on land, in the air, at sea, and in cyberspace, as well as those supporting military logistics. He also paid tribute to the memory of fallen Ukrainian defenders.

Technological Solutions and Long-Range Strikes

Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi emphasized that while Russian forces rely on numerical superiority and infantry assaults, Ukrainian forces prioritize innovations and the development of unmanned systems. The deployment of drones has significantly altered battlefield dynamics, while precise long-range strikes systematically disrupt enemy logistics and resources deep behind the front lines.

The Commander-in-Chief defined his primary responsibility as creating conditions where the military fights effectively through coordination, intelligence, and advanced technology while preserving human capital.

Requirements for Personnel and Shared Responsibility

According to the head of the Armed Forces, modern warfare demands continuous self-improvement, initiative, decisiveness, and honesty from service members. Victory relies on professionalism and leadership qualities across all ranks, from soldiers to officers.

Mykhailo Drapatyi added that preserving the state remains a collective duty for the entire society, requiring every individual to take responsibility in their respective role to achieve a common outcome.
