Kyiv implements traffic restrictions on four bridges during air raid alerts

The changes affect the Pivdennyi, Darnytskyi, Metro, and Podilsko-Voskresenskyi bridges

In Kyiv, traffic movement is being temporarily restricted on four river crossings across the Dnipro during air raid alerts. The changes will remain in effect until the air threat to the capital has ended. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Kyiv Patrol Police.

The Patrol Police of Kyiv has released a list of infrastructure facilities where restrictions are being implemented in the event of an attack threat. The measures are aimed at regulating traffic flows during periods of heightened danger.

Pivdennyi and Darnytskyi bridges

During alerts, the Pivdennyi bridge is completely closed to all vehicle movement in both directions. The Darnytskyi bridge remains operational, however, its capacity is significantly reduced: traffic is permitted only in a single lane from the right bank to the left bank.

Metro bridge and Podilsko-Voskresenskyi bridge

Traffic on the Metro bridge is blocked for vehicles traveling from the left bank to the right bank. An identical procedure has been established for the Podilsko-Voskresenskyi bridge, where vehicle travel in the direction from the left bank to the right bank is also prohibited.

Drivers are advised to account for these adjustments when planning their routes. These restrictions are a temporary measure that applies exclusively during the period when an air raid alert is active.
