The US financial institution DFC has supported Ukrainian business
DTEK energy company will not stop investments in the Ukrainian economy despite constant shelling and large-scale infrastructure destruction. Maxim Timchenko, CEO of DTEK, announced this at the Kyiv International Economic Forum. This was reported by Glavcom, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The head of the enterprise emphasized that the unwavering position of company owner Rinat Akhmetov is to continue financing the domestic energy sector. This step serves as a clear signal to the company employees and the international community about the unshakeable belief in the country’s future.
Partnership with international financial institutions and private investors remains the driving force for attracting capital into the state. Trust from foreign partners makes it possible to implement significant initiatives during martial law.
A landmark step for the market was the decision of the American institution DFC to co-invest with the domestic enterprise. This confirms the ability of Ukrainian businesses to generate profits and rely on the shoulder of global allies.
The organization continues to work on creating new facilities for electricity generation. In particular, this concerns the development of wind generation and the introduction of modern technologies that will eventually replace coal-fired stations.
Sustainable economic growth is impossible without modernizing the energy industry. However, the implementation of such large-scale projects requires the active participation of the private sector and the establishment of long-term partnerships with international financial institutions.
