The helicopter Ka-27 shot down on March 5, 2026 over the Black Sea.
This was officially reported in the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
“️ of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed an enemy Ka-27 by the Forces and means of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the Black Sea, an enemy ship anti-submarine helicopter Ka-27 was destroyed,” the statement said.
How many crew members were on board and what is happening to them now is not reported.
Ka-27 is a Soviet/Russian ship multipurpose helicopter developed by the Kamov Design Bureau. Features: compact, stable in a side wind, landing on a ship with excitement up to 5 points. Still in service with the Russian Navy and several countries.
