Ukrainian postal operators Nova Poshta and Ukrposhta increased tariffs for parcel delivery. In particular, sending up to 10 kg across Ukraine to Nova Poshta customers will now cost UAH 135, while previously it cost UAH 120. The new prices came into effect on April 13. As the company reported, the increase is due to “the need to bring the cost of services into line with current working conditions.” OBOZ.UA reports this, according to the PromPolitInform portal.
“The current market situation is accompanied by a significant increase in operational workload, in particular due to the increase in the cost of living, instability in the global energy market and rising fuel prices. Additionally, the cost of partners’ services has increased – from communications to electricity,” the message says.

Delivery within the city – 70 UAH (was 60 UAH).
Across Ukraine – 80 UAH (was 70 UAH).
The price already includes a branded cardboard envelope.
Parcels up to 30 kg
Delivery within the city:
up to 2 kg – 70 UAH (was 60 UAH).
up to 10 kg – 115 UAH (was 100 UAH).
up to 30 kg – 180 UAH (was 160 UAH).
Delivery within Ukraine:
up to 2 kg – 90 UAH (was 70 UAH).
up to 10 kg – 135 UAH (was 120 UAH).
up to 30 kg – 200 UAH (was 180 UAH).
Cargo over 30 kg
Between branches within the city 7 UAH/kg (was 6 UAH).
Between branches in Ukraine: from 11 UAH/kg (was from 9 UAH) depending on the tariff zone.

How Ukrposhta increased tariffs
Ukrposhta also increased tariffs. The changes came into effect on April 1. They noted:
In general, for the smallest parcels, the increase will be 5 UAH.
Some priority tariffs will remain unchanged.
“A more noticeable adjustment will apply to those categories where the current tariffs lagged behind the actual cost of delivery. As well as larger shipments,” the message says.
According to the new prices, sending a tiny parcel (up to 1,500 cubic centimeters) across Ukraine at the basic tariff now costs 50 UAH. And in addition:
A small one (from 1,500 to 4,000 cubic centimeters) – 55 UAH.
Small (from 4,000 to 8,000 cc) – 80 UAH.
Medium (from 8,000 to 20,000 cc) – 85 UAH.
Large – (from 20,000 to 80,000 cc) – 140 UAH.
Huge – (from 80,000 to 120,000 cc) – 150 UAH.

The reason for the tariff increase in Ukrposhta was the increase in operating costs. First of all, for:
fuel;
infrastructure maintenance;
supporting the continuous operation of the network during blackouts.
“Additional pressure on costs is also created by the consequences of enemy shelling. In particular, the need to restore vehicles and branches,” the company said.
As reported, Ukrposhta also introduced a special tariff for military personnel. In particular, online shipments to frontline regions have been created and will cost 1 UAH.
