Volodymyr Zelenskyy submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a draft on the extension of martial law. This will be the 19th time that the legal regime can be renewed for another three months.

Extending the period of martial law in Ukraine is considered a necessary decision due to Russia’s prolonged armed aggression.
Martial law should end on May 4. However, the new bill, which every three months Zelensky submits to the deputies, it is proposed to extend it for another 90 days – until August 2.
