The Russians attacked Ternopil and Rivne with drones – there is destruction and victims.
Today, May 1, in the afternoon, Russia launched 409 strike drones with a series of launch sites across Ukraine. Air defense forces shot down 388 of them, but there are also hits. In particular, in Ternopil and Rivne. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
It is noted that 16 strike UAVs were hit at six locations, as well as the fall of the wreckage of downed drones at 11 locations.
In Ternopil, as a result of a massive attack by Russian UAVs, 10 people were injured, one person in serious condition. The enemy struck at different locations of the city, according to the State Emergency Service. Rescuers eliminate the consequences of the attack, extinguish fires and provide assistance to the victims.
In Rivne, “Shahed” hit the house of Rivne – the floor of the building has already burned out, according to local media and publics. Fortunately, no one was hurt. They write that this is the largest shelling of the city for the entire time of the war – up to 60 drones flew into the region.
The military warns that the attack is still ongoing, there are enemy UAVs in the airspace. Therefore, residents of regions where an air alarm is heard are asked to be in safe places.
