Ukraine records a significant deterioration of key indicators in the Russian Federation and noticeable export losses.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy today held a meeting of the Headquarters, at which three main issues were discussed,
informs the PromPolitInform portal.
Three key questions.
The first question is ground-based robotic complexes, which are currently one of the hottest requests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Head of State emphasizes that their production and supply should meet the needs, stressing the need to increase the volume of contracting.
It is ground-based robotic complexes that are now one of the hottest demands of our Defense Forces, and production and supply must keep up with the need. The amount of NRC contracting should be significantly higher than last year. 25 thousand NRCs have already been contracted – twice as much as last year, and this is only the initial level: the number will be increased, and significantly, the contracting continues. I am grateful to all manufacturers who ensure the timely execution of contracts, and to each of our units and all commanders who scale the use of NRC. He instructed the General Staff and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine to monthly check the real need for NRC and the level of supply.
The second issue is protection against ballistics. There were reports on the supply of missiles for anti-ballistic systems and the state of implementation of agreements with partners. It is important that in May the supply is no less than we have already received at the level of promises from partners, and this is a direct task for our diplomats and military command. They also discussed the state of work on alternative means of anti-ballistic protection – available in the world and their own, Ukrainian developments.
The third question at the Headquarters is intelligence reports. The DIU and the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine thoroughly reported on the state of the economy and social processes in Russia after the first quarter of this year: we record a significant deterioration in key indicators and noticeable Russian export losses. Despite the Russian leadership’s attempts to use the war in Iran to correct the financial situation, the real results for Russia are negative. In particular, our long-range sanctions work for this. We will continue our pressure on the aggressor. Glory to Ukraine!
- Recall, Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov said that plans to 100% logistics issues closed ground robotic complexes, which at the front is becoming more and more. But the Russians also keep abreast of this issue – they have already created drone units that specialize in controlling supply roads and, accordingly, hunting for Ukrainian NRCs.
