Russia attacked five Naftogaz facilities in a day

Over the past day, Russian troops have attacked five Naftogaz Group infrastructure facilities in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions. RBC-Ukraine reports this with reference to the Naftogaz press service. The PromPolitInform portal informs.

The strikes have damaged equipment, and fires have broken out at some facilities. As a result, some production processes had to be temporarily suspended.

“There is damage to equipment, and fires have broken out at some facilities. We had to temporarily suspend production processes. The intensity of enemy attacks is increasing,” said Serhiy Koretsky, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine.

Currently, units of the State Emergency Service and company specialists are working on the ground. They are eliminating the consequences of the strikes and taking measures to minimize damage and restore infrastructure.

Strikes on Naftogaz

Recall that on April 4, Russian troops twice attacked Naftogaz infrastructure facilities in the Poltava region with drones. As a result of the strikes, a fire broke out at one of the facilities.

The next day, the chairman of the board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, Serhiy Koretsky, reported that the enemy had been purposefully attacking oil and gas infrastructure for two days in a row, in particular in Poltava and Sumy regions.

Already on May 2, the Russian occupiers again attacked Naftogaz facilities. In two days, infrastructure in at least three regions of Ukraine came under attack.
