During April, Ukraine focused on unlocking a 90 billion euro financial assistance package, preparing for winter, strengthening cooperation with the countries of the Middle East and the Caucasus, attracting new contributions to the PURL program, developing cooperation with Europe, and moving towards building a European anti-ballistic defense system
10 documents were signed at various levels, six more between Ukrainian and German defense companies, the Office of the President of Ukraine informs, DS reports. The PromPolitInform portal reports.
The partners announced during April:
Belgium: 75 million euros for the Czech initiative, 75 million euros for the German air defense initiative, and 85 million euros for the Drone Coalition.
UK: Largest drone support package this year.
Estonia: $13m for PURL.
Canada: $15m for NSATU, $42m for Czech initiative, $17m for critical engineering equipment.
Lithuania: €39m for Czech initiative, $29m for PURL.
Netherlands: €248m for Ukrainian drone production.
Germany: Agreements for several hundred Patriot missiles, delivery of 36 IRIS-T launchers, €300m for Ukrainian-made long-range weapons and launch of joint production of AI-powered mid-strike drones.
Norway: $560m for basic drone support for brigades, $150m for logistics hub.
USA: $100m contribution announced for the repair of the damaged confinement of the Chernobyl NPP.
In addition, Ukraine has imposed sanctions against another 23 naval vessels of the Russian shadow fleet, Russian entities that provide the enemy’s military-industrial complex, 121 Russian commanders, organizers and coordinators of missile strikes on Ukraine, persons involved in the abduction of Ukrainian children, Russian religious and cultural propagandists, Belarusian enterprises that contribute to Russian aggression, and the inner circle of the self-proclaimed president of Belarus.
