In 2026, the Cabinet plans to receive 13 billion hryvnias from privatization and sell Ocean Plaza. Small privatization has already brought the budget over 1 billion hryvnias.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine expects to attract about 10 billion hryvnias in revenues from private investors in 2026 as a result of large privatization and 3 billion – from small ones. This was reported by Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko, UNN reports. The PromPolitInform portal informs.
According to Svyridenko, this is an ambitious task in wartime, but it was discussed and agreed upon at a meeting with the Ministry of Economy and the State Property Fund. The meeting itself took place in the Ocean Plaza shopping mall, which previously belonged to Russian oligarch Arkady Rotenberg, and was later transferred to the state in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Sanctions”.
“We plan to put it up for public auction in the third quarter of this year with an estimated market value of about $100 million,” the head of government noted.
At the same time, small-scale privatization in Ukraine will not stop.
“This is a continuous process that is already yielding results and generating stable revenues to the budget. Since the beginning of the year, we have already received over 1 billion hryvnias and have fulfilled a significant part of the annual plan,” the Prime Minister of Ukraine said.
We will remind you that at the end of November 2025, the State Enterprise “Forests of Ukraine” was transferred to the status of a joint-stock company. The representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, believes that this decision will ensure effective corporate governance and increase competitiveness, without privatization.
