President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the partners for the relevant sanctions decisions on Russian structures and individuals.
He wrote about this on the evening of May 11, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
“Now under the restrictions of the UK 85 individuals and legal entities. These are those who participate in the deportation of Ukrainian children, the imposition of Russian ideology, Russification and militarization, as well as in Russian propaganda operations,” the President said.
According to him, Canada imposes sanctions against 23 more people and five organizations responsible for the illegal deportation and forced displacement of our children, including their indoctrination and militarization.
The sanctions package of the European Union includes 16 people and 7 organizations involved in the systematic illegal deportation and removal of Ukrainian children to the Russian Federation, followed by forced adoption and re-education.
These are those who “flaunt” the identity of Ukrainian children, help them hate their homeland and one day take up arms to fight against Ukraine.
“I am grateful for the principled position and for the fact that the sanctions pressure does not stop. The partners took into account many of our proposals, including provisions from the Ukrainian sanctions package introduced a few weeks ago.
We must continue to work together to bring all Ukrainian children home and to bring all those behind these crimes to justice,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
As reported earlier, New Zealand hit with sanctions on Russian cyber networks.
