Despite the established temporary ceasefire, the Russian invaders have already carried out 38 attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the front. This is stated in the summary of the General Staff as of 16:00 Monday, May 11, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today, in the Sumy region, the settlements of Novovasilovka, Korenok, Bachovsk, Ryzhevka, Tovstodubovo, Booths, Ulanovo, Bezsalovka, Kharkov were affected.
In the Severoslobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 29 shellings of settlements and positions of our troops, three of which – with the use of multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Yuzhnoslobozhansky direction, the aggressor stormed the positions of our units three times in the areas of Volchansk and Krasnoye Pershiy settlements.
On the Kupyansk, Kramatorsk, Alexander and Dnieper directions today, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations.
In the Liman direction, the occupier began seven assaults in the areas of the settlements of Liman, Drobyshevo, Zarechnoye, Ozernoye. One fight is still going on.
In the Slavic direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled one attempt by the invaders to move forward in the area of Reznikovka.
In the Konstantinovsky direction, the Rashists carried out eight attacks near the settlements of Pleshcheyevka, Konstantinovka, Ilyinovka, Kucherov Yar. Two combat detachments continue.
Since the beginning of the day, in the Pokrovsky direction, the invaders have tried 12 times to squeeze our soldiers from their positions in the areas of the settlements of Rodinskoye, Novoaleksandrovka, Grishino, Kotlino, Udachnoye, Muravka, Novopodgorodnoye, Molodetskoye and in the direction of Novopavlovka. To date, there are four combat detections.
On the Gulyaypilsky direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled five Russian attacks in the direction of the settlements of Dobropolye, Staroukrainka, Zheleznodorozhnoye.
In the Orekhovsky direction, the enemy twice attacked in the Stepnogorsky area.
“There are no significant changes in the situation in other areas at the moment. No attempts by the enemy to advance were recorded. Ukrainian troops are exhausting the enemy along the entire line of contact and in the rear,” the General Staff added.
