Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have destroyed approximately 1,354,810 Russian occupiers and 42,579 artillery systems as of the morning of May 23, 2026.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to the Prompolitinform portal.
The total combat losses of Russia’s occupying army from February 24, 2022 to May 23, 2026 are estimated as follows:
- personnel — about 1,354,810 (+950) troops
- tanks — 11,949 (+5) units
- armored combat vehicles — 24,599 (+5) units
- artillery systems — 42,579 (+68) units
- MLRS — 1,799 (+1) units
- air defense systems — 1,394 (+4) units
- aircraft — 436 (+0) units
- helicopters — 353 (+0) units
- ground robotic systems — 1,444 (+4) units
- operational-tactical UAVs — 306,478 (+1,819) units
- cruise missiles — 4,632 (+0) units
- warships / boats — 33 (+0) units
- submarines — 2 (+0) units
- vehicles and fuel tankers — 98,406 (+201) units
- special equipment — 4,212 (+5) units
