President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky approved the decision of the Verkhovna Rada on the next extension of martial law and general mobilization. The document was voted on in parliament the day before, after which it was officially signed by the head of state. This is reported by “Pershy Business“, the PromPolitInform portal reports.
The extension of martial law provides legal conditions for the work of the defense forces, coordination of military command and implementation of measures necessary to deter Russian aggression. Mobilization remains a key tool for maintaining the combat capability of the army and the rotation of units at the front.
The adopted law preserves the current restrictions that have been in effect in the country since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, including the special order of work of state bodies, military administrations and law enforcement agencies. The government emphasizes that the continuation of mobilization is critically important for ensuring the stability of the defense sector.
