President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held the first official talks with the newly elected head of the UK government Andy Burnham. Kyiv Post reports, the PromPolitInform portal reports.
During the meeting, it became known that London is transferring modern electronic warfare technologies to Ukraine, which will allow more effectively protecting domestic drones during combat missions.
The president emphasized the importance of joint work in the security sector, noting that the key priority for the country remains the increase in defense capabilities in the air and at sea.
In addition, the interlocutors touched upon the issues of expanding joint ventures for the production of weapons.
Zelensky expressed sincere gratitude to British partners for the provided electronic warfare means, saying that these decisions will significantly improve the positions of the Ukrainian military directly on the front line.
