The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has launched the second phase of the Basic Security Level, which involves supplying ground robotic complexes and heavy middle strike drones to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On the second phase, the monthly supply of the most in-demand means of UAVs will be supplemented with ground robotic complexes (GRC) and heavy middle strike drones.
The second phase of the Basic Security Level expands the range of means and strengthens the logistical lockdown of the enemy.
As emphasized by Mstyslav Banik, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, with stable forecasted security, the military will be able to better plan operations, take the initiative, and not just ‘put out fires’ on the front line.
The Basic Security Level project started in June 2026 with the closure of the minimum needs for FPV drones on radio communication and fiber optics, ‘Mavikas’, bombers, wing-reconnaissance and light middle strike drones.
