Passengers on international trains are allowed up to three typos in their name and surname in tickets without invalidating the document. In addition, Ukrzaliznytsia has introduced a free bus transfer for passengers on train No. 351 to Chisinau airport.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Сергій Козачук), according to the portal PromPolitInform.
When purchasing tickets for international routes, data is automatically converted into Latin script in accordance with the standards of the State Migration Service of Ukraine. Working discrepancies between the transliteration in the travel document and the international passport do not interfere with travel.
If there are no more than three typographical errors in the name or surname, the train ticket is considered legitimate. To verify the spelling of their personal data, passengers can use the official State Migration Service resource.
Free airport transfer
For passengers traveling on train No. 351 Kyiv — Chisinau, a direct connection with the Moldovan capital’s airport has been organized. After stopping at the Revaca station, bus services are organized to take travelers directly to the terminal.
To receive the service, it is necessary to inform the train conductor of the intention to use the transfer and get off at the Revaca stop before reaching the central Chisinau station. The service is valid exclusively for passengers traveling from Ukraine.
Safety in carriages
In the event of conflict or dangerous situations during a trip, passengers should inform the conductor or the train manager. Railway staff are required to promptly summon law enforcement agencies to the nearest station.
