The cost of intercepting a Russian weapon system is lower than the price of the enemy drone itself
Ukrainian developers collaborating with the Brave1 defense cluster have created countermeasures against Russian Banderol rocket-drones. These technologies are already being deployed to protect cities and demonstrate significant economic advantages in neutralizing hostile targets. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from Brave1.
The enemy continues to modernize its strike capabilities, using new types of weapons to terrorize civilians, including the Banderol rocket-drones. In response, Ukrainian engineers from the Brave1 platform have promptly developed effective systems for intercepting and destroying such airborne targets.
Economic advantage of interception
A key feature of these new solutions is their financial efficiency. According to the developers, the cost of utilizing these interception systems is significantly lower than the price that Russia spends on manufacturing a single rocket-drone. This allows for a more rational use of existing air defense resources.
Scaling technological solutions
At present, the Ukrainian defense forces have access to several types of products capable of effectively countering Banderols. Work to improve these systems is ongoing, and innovative designs are being actively scaled to ensure reliable protection of Ukrainian cities from enemy attacks.
