Artificial intelligence in Ukrainian drones ensures strikes without GPS
The lifespan of a newly arrived Russian soldier on the frontline in Ukraine has dropped to 20-30 minutes due to the use of drones with artificial intelligence. This was stated by Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Cain. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Олена Бджола), according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The speech by the American military leader took place during the Air, Space & Cyber Conference. According to the official, such figures have been recorded in certain areas of engagement with the adversary.
«Just think about that. This is what happens when cheap high-precision assets are rapidly fielded, adapted, and scaled on the battlefield», — said Dan Cain.
The main reason for such consequences is the rapid evolution of weaponry and the mass deployment of Ukrainian unmanned systems with computer vision. Such technologies make it possible to effectively destroy targets even in situations where GPS navigation is completely jammed by electronic warfare means.
Earlier, Ukrainian intelligence also reported similar survival timeframes for newly arrived recruits of the occupation army upon reaching the frontline. At the same time, state structures continue to massively distribute conscription notices through enlistment offices to quickly replenish personnel at assembly points.
