Users can now spend these funds on new transport services
The Kyiv Digital mobile application has completed the process of crediting funds for trips that remained unused after the tariff changes. The money is now available on users' transport card wallets. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from Kyiv City State Administration.
The development team behind the Kyiv Digital service has officially confirmed that the recalculation for all trips not utilized under the old prices is complete. Users are now free to manage these funds and use them to pay for transit at the current applicable rates.
To utilize the accumulated resources via the application, cardholders need to access the Transport Card section and select the relevant card. Then, in the My Wallet tab, they must use the Purchase Trips feature, which allows adding the required number of trips to their current balance.
Additional ways to use the balance
Beyond purchasing individual trips, users can spend the refunded funds on other transport products, such as monthly passes. To perform this operation, users should contact the technical support team via email or by calling (044) 366-55-55.
Customer service is also provided by the appeal processing department of the utility company GIOTS. Those interested can visit the office in person at 12-A Kosmicheska Street, room 108, or call (044) 366-81-36 to receive detailed consultations regarding fund deduction and usage.
City administration officials remind passengers that the total cost of a single trip depends directly on the total number of trips purchased at one time. All recalculation mechanisms were designed to ensure transparency in updating the fare schedule within the electronic payment system.
