Pet food manufacturer PRACTIK resumed operations after its warehouse was destroyed by a Russian drone
Pet food manufacturer PRACTIK resumed order shipments a week after a Russian drone completely destroyed its central logistics hub on September 18, 2025. Preliminary losses from the hostile strike are estimated at over UAH 15 million. This was reported by Economichna Pravda, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
Ukrainian brand PRACTIK specializes in pet food production, developing its own manufacturing and logistics since 2014. After the hostile strike destroyed the company’s central logistics complex, routine operational processes were severely disrupted. The team had to quickly seek new ways to ship orders while preserving cash-on-delivery options for customers.
Restoring logistics and cash on delivery
In about a week, the manufacturer managed to resume shipments with cash on delivery thanks to cooperation with the NovaPay service. According to PRACTIK CEO Ivan Zubaryev, this helped maintain familiar conditions for customers while rebuilding workflows. «We needed not only to arrange order shipments under a new scheme, but also to ensure uninterrupted payment processing», said Zubaryev.
Integrating payments into the CRM system
NovaPay’s financial tools began to be used not only for receiving cash-on-delivery funds, but also for settling with suppliers and transferring money between accounts. The business also integrated operation registry data directly into its CRM to automate payment verification. This allowed the system to independently match actual incoming funds with specific orders.
Automation to reduce errors
The use of payment registries significantly reduced the company’s reliance on manual transaction verification. The software now automatically controls amount compliance and traces funds to the correct orders. «We were able to use NovaPay registries to build automated verification in the CRM», noted Ivan Zubaryev.
The company management views this crisis experience as a catalyst for deeper optimization and increased reliability of internal processes. The applied payment tool has evolved from a temporary workaround into a full-fledged component of daily financial control and business management.
