Russian repair bases, command centers, and personnel clusters were hit
Throughout October 19-20, Ukrainian units attacked a number of military objects belonging to the Russian occupation forces in Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions. Fire strikes resulted in the destruction of an enemy repair base, a command post, and material-technical supply depots. This was reported by Glavcom citing Defence Forces of Ukraine, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
As part of countering the Russian aggression, Ukrainian military forces carried out a series of operations aimed at exhausting the enemy’s resources. Strikes were conducted against strategically vital rear targets across three frontline regions.
Destroying enemy repair capacity
One of the key objectives was neutralizing a repair base near Kalmiuske in the Donetsk region. Eliminating such facilities significantly hinders the restoration of damaged armored vehicles that the occupiers attempt to return to combat units rapidly.
A Russian army command post near Fedorivka in the Zaporizhzhia region was also hit. This strike aims to disrupt the enemy’s control system at the operational level.
Attacks on depots and troop concentrations
Particular attention was paid to the enemy’s logistics hubs. Ukrainian forces attacked material-technical supply depots located near Kripenske, Rivnopil, and Lahidne in the Luhansk, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions, respectively.
Strikes were confirmed on areas where Russian personnel were concentrated. In the Zaporizhzhia region, targets in the areas of Rybalivka, Basan, Fedorivka, and Mykolaivka were hit.
Combat operations in Donbas
In the Donetsk direction, Defence Forces units struck enemy hotspots near Zelene Hai, Horlivka, and Selydove. A similar operation to eliminate enemy personnel was carried out in the area of Svatove, Luhansk region.
Parallel to operations in occupied Ukrainian territories, efforts to strike Russian critical infrastructure continue. Specifically, drones attacked the Nikolskaya station in the Tambov region, where a fuel tank caught fire following the strike.
