The businessman called for an end to hostilities, describing the deaths of Russian servicemen as a consequence of having no alternative
American businessman Elon Musk called for an end to hostilities in Ukraine, stating the need for compassion toward Russian servicemen. He described the situation on the frontline as the endless destruction of people on both sides. This was reported by Sotwe, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
In his post on the social network X, the owner of SpaceX and Tesla claimed that mobilized citizens of the Russian Federation allegedly have no choice but to participate in military operations, where they die during drone attacks. This statement caused widespread resonance and criticism given the context of the full-scale aggression against Ukraine.
Stance on hostilities
The entrepreneur made such remarks against the backdrop of a general discussion about the course of the war, in which the Russian Federation continues its systematic shelling of Ukrainian territory and infrastructure. Musk has repeatedly drawn media attention with his comments on geopolitical events, but his latest thesis about the need to “pity” the Russian military became a separate subject of discussion online.
In addition to statements about the war, Elon Musk’s activity on social media covers a number of other topics, in particular the promotion of Grok artificial intelligence technologies and the expansion of Starlink satellite internet capabilities. Specifically, it was recently announced that Starlink services are being integrated into the infrastructure of Jordan’s banking system, and airline Aer Lingus plans to provide communication services on its flights.
The businessman’s communication strategy
Regarding the development of artificial intelligence, the businessman actively promotes his own developments, emphasizing their ability to perform tasks on behalf of users, including phone calls and work schedule administration. At the same time, he continues to criticize traditional media, arguing that users shape the information space on their own.
