Power supply restrictions in Ukraine on October 25: what is known

Industrial facilities and household consumers will shift to schedules due to grid damage

Consumption restrictions will be introduced in parts of Ukraine on October 25 for both businesses and households. These measures are being implemented due to the consequences of the Russian army's massive attacks on energy infrastructure facilities. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Ukrenergo.

According to the operator’s plan, power capacity restriction schedules for industrial enterprises will be in effect from 06:00 to 23:59. At the same time, hourly blackout schedules will be applied for all other categories of consumers from 07:00 to 23:59, involving the use of one or two stages simultaneously.

Energy system state

The current situation in the integrated energy system remains dynamic and depends on the intensity of Russian shelling. Given the potential for changes, energy sector specialists urge residents of Ukraine to regularly check for updates on the official online resources of regional distribution system operators, known as oblenergos.

Efficient consumption

Despite the forced technical measures, specialists strongly urge citizens to minimize the use of energy-intensive appliances during periods when power supply is restored according to the schedule. This will reduce the load on damaged networks and prevent the premature failure of surviving equipment.
