Ukraine's frontline positions remain at their strongest in a long time
The Head of State announced three key military operations conducted this year, during which Ukrainian units liberated significant territories. He made this statement while assessing the current situation on the frontline and the army's results. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The first significant campaign by the Air Assault Forces covered more than 800 square kilometers of liberated land. The second important stage was the Vivaldi operation in the Donetsk region, where fierce battles took place in areas with the highest concentration of enemy assaults.
Liberated territories in the east
In the Donetsk direction, units recaptured over 200 square kilometers of territory from the occupiers. The third significant action is the Veles operation carried out by the Khartia brigade in the Kupiansk direction. This movement disrupts the plans of the Russian command and proves the failure of their attacks in this sector of the frontline.
Need for air defense systems
The President emphasized the importance of ongoing support from international partners. In particular, this concerns the supply of Patriot air defense systems and other assets. According to the Head of State, sufficient partner assistance can significantly strengthen Ukraine’s diplomatic stance in the future.
