The soldiers of the Main Directorate of Intelligence, together with other units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, conducted a comprehensive operation to liberate and clean up the village of Stepnogorsk in the Zaporizhzhya direction. It is reported by the DIU, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
In particular, the special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate “Artan” takes part in the operation. To date, as part of the operation, several hundred Russian military have already been eliminated, more than 20 units of enemy armored vehicles have been hit: tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, scarce electronic warfare. The exchange fund was also replenished: the invaders were captured directly from urban development.
The Russian army, according to the already typical tactic of “meat impregnation,” throws small groups of 1 to 10 people under the cover of fog into counterattacks. Most of these groups are eliminated by scouts in the gray zone, the rest – in close combat. In this sector of the front, the enemy is trying to establish air superiority. But thanks to the integrated small-radius air defense system and the skill of Ukrainian pilots, the sky remains under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, “the scouts said.
As noted in the GUR, the return of Stepnogorsk aligns the front line, deprives the Russians of a bridgehead that they could use to attack Zaporozhye. In addition, the return of the point under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine expands the zones of fire control over the logistics of the invaders, and most importantly, it hits the morale of the “elite” military units of the Russian Federation.
In March, Ukrainian fighters from the 14th Army Corps installed the state flag of Ukraine in the village of Pokrovka, Sumy District. In this way, the defenders refuted the reports of enemy propagandists about the alleged capture of the village.
The Ukrainian military assured that the information about the alleged advancement and successes of the Russian invaders in Belyakovka (Krasnoznamyanka) of the Dnipropetrovsk region is not true.
