President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the signing of ten-year agreements with three countries on the production of weapons and drones for Ukraine. According to him, these agreements will become the foundation of a long-term partnership and a guarantee of stable supplies of modern defense technologies.
The head of state announced that the three countries agreed to strategic cooperation with Ukraine in the field of drone and armament production. Zelensky emphasized that these agreements will ensure the stability and independence of the Ukrainian defense industry for the next decade. As reported by the PromPolitInform portal, АSPI informs.
In his evening address, President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about new strategic agreements that Ukraine has concluded with three partner states. These are ten-year contracts that provide for the joint production of drones and other weapons on the territory of Ukraine. “These are not short-term agreements, but fundamental agreements that guarantee us stability in the production of weapons and technologies,” Zelensky stressed. He emphasized that thanks to these contracts, Ukraine will be able not only to receive modern systems, but also to develop its own defense industry.
The President noted that the new agreements are part of a broader strategy – the creation of a powerful military-industrial base in Ukraine, which will allow it to supply the army regardless of external fluctuations.
Analysts believe that such agreements have a double meaning: they not only strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities, but also demonstrate the trust of international partners in its ability to implement large-scale projects.
Thus, the signed agreements have become an important step in the formation of a long-term defense strategy: Ukraine receives not just weapons, but a guarantee of stable production and technological development for the next decade.
