On Friday, April 24, Ukraine and Russia held a new prisoner exchange. 193 Ukrainians returned home. This was reported by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the PromPolitInform portal reports.
As noted, 193 Ukrainian soldiers were able to return home. Among them are servicemen from the Armed Forces, National Guard, State Border Service, National Police, State Special Transport Service.
Also among the defenders returned home are those against whom Russia has opened criminal cases, and there are wounded.
“It is important that there are exchanges and that our people return home. I thank everyone who works for the sake of the exchanges. To each unit that at the front ensures the replenishment of the exchange fund for Ukraine. I am grateful to all partners who help in this,” the president added.
