In Ukraine, from April 1, some pensioners may temporarily not receive their payments due to updated data verification rules. The Pension Fund explains that this is not about the cancellation of pensions, but about the automatic suspension of accruals if the information about the recipient is not confirmed or contains inaccuracies. Most often, delays occur among internally displaced persons, pensioners who have not undergone verification for a long time, as well as those who have changed their bank, card or place of residence, but have not notified the Pension Fund of Ukraine. In such cases, the system blocks the payment until the data is clarified.
The department emphasizes that it is possible to restore the pension without complicated procedures. To do this, you need to check your data on the Pension Fund portal or in the service center, undergo verification through “Diya”, a bank or in person, and also update your details in case of changing the card or financial institution. If necessary, pensioners can contact the PFU hotline to clarify the status of payments.
We remind you that after updating the information, all suspended amounts will be credited in full, the Pension Fund assures.
