The Supervisory Board of Energoatom ordered an internal investigation based on NABU materials, suspended several employees and announced an internal reorganization. This, Hromadske.ua informs, is stated in the Supervisory Board’s message. The PromPolitInform portal reports.
They reported that on May 8 they received information from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), which may indicate the commission of criminal offenses by company officials.
“This information was confirmed by a separate report from another source,” the report says.
On the morning of May 11, the Supervisory Board ordered an official internal investigation into the circumstances set forth in the NABU letter and reported by another source.
Several employees were suspended from work and performance of their duties for the duration of the investigation.
Nuclear energy expert Olga Kosharna published an appendix to the meeting minutes, which indicated that those suspended included:
Mykola Bozhko, CEO of Atomproekteining;
Dmytro Basov, Executive Director for Physical Protection and Security of Energoatom;
Svitlana Pinchuk, Deputy CEO of the branch “Separate Unit “Atomenergomash” of JSC “NNEC “”Energoatom””;
Lyudmila Smilyanets, Director of Finance and Budgeting;
Oleg Doroshenko, Head of the Separate Unit “Centralized Procurement” of NNNEC “Energoatom”;
Stanislav Guschesov, former Head of the Chernihiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office and now an employee of the Legal Directorate of Energoatom;
Dmytro Ilchuk, Former Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Security and Compliance Policy at Energoatom;
Bohdan Shmyhelsky is the Executive Director of Personnel at Energoatom.
In addition, in order to strengthen control over the activities of the executive body, the Supervisory Board instructed to reorganize certain structural divisions of the company responsible for physical protection and economic security. It should be completed no later than June 19, 2026.
