President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Headquarters.
The head of state announced this in Telegram, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
“Held the Pond. We analyzed in detail the available data in our intelligence on the Russian planning of offensive operations in the Chernihiv-Kyiv direction. For each possible variant of the enemy’s actions, we prepare answers if the Russians really dare to expand their aggression. Our forces in the direction will be increased.”

He instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to prepare additional measures of diplomatic influence against Belarus, which can be used by Russia for such an expansion of the war. There are also relevant non-public tasks for the Ukrainian intelligence services.

Regarding Russian directions. We are preparing to expand the geography of our long-range sanctions, which have already proven themselves very well, and to force Russia to reduce aggression. They also took note of information about the preparation of new mobilization steps in Russia – plus 100 thousand people. We believe that as of today there is no such potential for hidden mobilization in Russia, therefore, we should expect Russian political decisions of a different format, in particular, such as recently in the Transnistrian region of Moldova,” the head of state concluded.
