100 enemy guns – a record number of occupiers’ artillery systems destroyed per day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has provided the latest data on the losses of the russian army as of July 4, 2026 – the 1,592nd day of the war

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Ukraine’s Defense Forces have destroyed approximately 1,408,340 occupiers as of the morning of July 4, 2026 – the 1,592nd day of the war. In addition, a record number of enemy artillery systems – 100 units – were destroyed over the past day.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as informed by the Prompolitinform portal.

It should be noted that the absolute daily record for destroying artillery systems of the russian army was set on March 27, 2025 – when the Defense Forces of Ukraine eliminated 122 units of enemy artillery. This happened during the largest month of counter-battery warfare, when a record number of guns – 1,644 units – were destroyed in March 2025.

Currently, the absolute monthly record for destroying artillery systems of the russian army, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was set in June 2026 – 2,074 guns. This is more than for the entire year of 2022, when 2,021 units of enemy artillery weapons were destroyed.

The approximate total combat losses of the russian occupation army from 24.02.2022 to 04.07.2026 are:
