The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provided the latest data on the losses of the russian army as of July 5, 2026 – the 1,593rd day of the war
Since the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Defense Forces of Ukraine, as of the morning of July 5, 2026 – the 1,593rd day of the war, have eliminated approximately 1,409,630 enemies. Over the past day, 1,290 occupiers and 1,628 operational-tactical UAVs were destroyed.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as informed by the Prompolitinform portal.
The approximate total combat losses of the russian occupation army from 24.02.2022 to 05.07.2026 are:
• personnel – about 1,409,630 (+1,290) persons
• tanks – 12,081 (+7) units
• armored fighting vehicles – 24,878 (+9) units
• artillery systems – 45,388 (+63) units
• MLRS – 1,916 (+3) units
• air defense systems – 1,470 (+1) units
• aircraft – 436 (+0) units
• helicopters – 353 (+0) units
• ground robotic systems – 1,821 (+6) units
• operational-tactical UAVs – 390,738 (+1,628) units
• cruise missiles – 4,847 (+0) units
• ships / boats – 33 (+0) units
• submarines – 2 (+0) units
• vehicles and fuel tankers – 116,106 (+462) units
• special equipment – 4,385 (+0) units
