As of the morning of July 16, 2026 – the 1,604th day of the war – Ukraine’s Defense Forces have destroyed 46,019 artillery systems and approximately 1,424,620 occupiers since the beginning of the russian army’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, including 1,340 over the past day.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as informed by the Prompolitinform portal.
Over the past 16 days, nearly 1,000 more occupier artillery pieces were destroyed. For reference, as of June 30, 2026 – the 1,588th day of the war since the beginning of the russian army’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine – Ukraine’s Defense Forces had destroyed 45,040 artillery systems of the russian army, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The approximate total combat losses of the russian occupation army from 24.02.2022 to 16.07.2026 are:
