State budget received UAH 1.74 billion from government bond auction

One-year hryvnia bonds at 15.16% provided the largest share of funding

During the latest government bond auction, the Ministry of Finance raised UAH 1.74 billion for the state budget. The funds were obtained through the sale of securities denominated in the national currency with varying maturity dates. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

The bulk of the financial resources, amounting to UAH 1.07 billion, was accumulated through the sale of one-year bonds with an annual yield of 15.16%. The remaining UAH 669 million came from 2.5-year bonds, which offered investors a yield of 16.09% per annum.

Results of government borrowing

Since the beginning of 2026, the total amount of funds raised through domestic government bonds has exceeded UAH 336.12 billion. Since the start of the full-scale invasion by the rf, the total volume of funds raised by the state through this instrument has reached nearly UAH 2.36 trillion.

All proceeds from the issuance of war bonds are directed towards supporting the defense sector and strengthening the state’s financial stability. The Ministry of Finance conducts these auctions every Tuesday.

The par value of one bond is set at 1,000 units in the corresponding currency: hryvnia, US dollars, or euros. Information on how to participate in investing in government securities is available on the official website bonds.gov.ua.
