Roksolana Pidlasa reveals Ukraine’s daily war spending
Chair of the Verkhovna Rada Budget Committee Roksolana Pidlasa stated that Ukraine’s daily war expenses have increased to $190 million. A significant portion of the additional $27 billion defense requirement is allocated for weapons procurement.
State budget received UAH 1.74 billion from government bond auction
During the latest government bond auction, the Ministry of Finance raised UAH 1.74 billion for the state budget. The funds were obtained through the sale of securities denominated in the national currency with varying maturity dates.
Expenditures on national security and defense increased by 20% in the first 7 months of 2026
In January–July 2026, general fund expenditures of Ukraine’s state budget for the defense and security sector reached 1.63 trillion UAH. This figure exceeds the results of the same period last year by 20%.
