The media building was damaged in the Russian strike, leaving several people injured
A Russian combat drone struck the My – Ukraina TV channel building while journalists were live on air. The facility was partially destroyed by the impact, and five people have been confirmed injured. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
At the time of the attack, media representatives were producing content for the Yedyni Novyny telethon. The structure sustained partial damage due to the drone’s detonation.
Emergency response operations
Units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine arrived promptly at the scene. Rescuers extinguished the fire caused by the impact.
The number of casualties currently stands at five. Emergency services are continuing to clear the site, as the number of injured may rise.
Response to the deliberate strike
Using Shahed-type combat drones against civilian media is an act of aggression against journalists. Coordinated international efforts are required to counter such actions by the rf.
