The ten-week operation 'MoLoChKa' has severely hampered Russian maritime logistics
Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces have damaged or destroyed 285 vessels of Russia's so-called 'shadow fleet' within ten weeks of the 'MoLoChKa' operation. Strikes were carried out in the waters of the Black and Azov Seas. This was reported by Ukrinform citing Robert Brovdi, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
According to the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert Brovdi, the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait area are under the most effective control, with navigation for enemy vessels effectively blocked. In the northeastern part of the Black Sea, Russian ships are forced to move with great caution, as operating within the range of Ukrainian drones poses a constant threat.
The strike data indicates a high intensity of the operation: 215 fleet units were disabled in July, 54 in August, and 16 more vessels were hit during the first eleven days of September. In just 70 days of active operations, Ukrainian forces have significantly restricted the enemy’s ability to utilize shadow shipping schemes.
Notably, Moscow continues its efforts to expand its tanker fleet for transporting energy resources, particularly liquefied natural gas from the Arctic LNG 2 project, despite international sanctions. Ukrainian military operations at sea have become one of the primary instruments for curbing these logistical efforts by the occupiers.
