EU initiative supports digital business transformation in central regions
The Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce has announced the launch of business participation in the Central Ukrainian EDIH digital transformation project. The initiative aims to support small and medium-sized businesses and public sector organisations. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The project is implemented within the framework of the European Digital Innovation Hub initiative, which aims to ensure the sustainable development of industrial regions in the central part of the country. Participants get the opportunity to implement digital solutions to increase overall competitiveness.
Specialisation areas and priority directions
The main areas of the hub’s work are information and communication technologies, artificial intelligence, as well as energy and energy efficiency. Special attention is paid to the development of innovative and additive manufacturing.
The involved companies receive direct access to new markets and tools for the professional development of the team. The program also provides for establishing strategic partnerships at the international level.
Conditions and stages of participation for enterprises
To join the initiative, it is necessary to register as a project participant through a special form. The next step is an initial assessment of the current level of digital maturity of the business.
Based on the obtained results, an individual digital transformation plan is developed for each company. The process is accompanied by expert support from specialized professionals.
