In Sieverodonetsk, the occupation administration has cancelled the restoration of 80 residential buildings

The city is preparing to demolish more high-rise buildings without providing housing to residents

The occupation authorities in Sieverodonetsk have abandoned plans to repair 80 multi-family residential buildings damaged during hostilities. Instead of the restoration promised over the past four years, the invaders are beginning to demolish the housing stock. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Luhansk Regional Military Administration.

The local occupation administration has decided to halt repair work on properties that had long been on the restoration waiting list. Residents of the buildings slated for demolition have not been offered alternative housing. Apartment owners were given only a few days to collect their personal belongings before the demolition of the structures began.

Demolition of high-rise buildings

In October, two more multi-family buildings located in both new and historical parts of the city are scheduled for liquidation. This process continues the policy of ignoring the housing needs of the civilian population affected by russian aggression.

State of critical infrastructure

Meanwhile, the occupied part of the Luhansk region is facing a critical state of utility networks. Equipment at life-support facilities is worn to the limit, making prompt repair work impossible.

Water supply crisis

The most difficult situation is observed in the water supply sector. The lack of water is a systemic problem even in areas where there is a stable power supply, due to the complete degradation of the technical base.

Over the past day, the enemy continued active shelling of the region using field artillery, mortars, and automatic grenade launchers. The enemy also carried out nine ammunition drops from drones and targeted the controlled territory with six FPV drones. Eight enemy assault attempts were recorded in the Lyman sector near four settlements.
