Shutdown schedules will be in effect for industrial and residential consumers throughout the day
On Friday, November 1, power supply restrictions will be enforced in parts of Ukraine. The measures will affect both industrial enterprises and residential consumers. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Ukrenergo.
From 06:00 to 23:59, power limitation schedules will be in effect for the industrial sector. Concurrently, during this same time frame, hourly rolling blackout schedules will be applied to the public, ranging from 1.5 to 2.5 stages.
Consequences of Russian attacks
The necessity for these steps is driven by the aftermath of regular, large-scale Russian shelling of energy infrastructure. These strikes have significantly complicated the operation of the nation’s integrated power system.
Timely information
Energy officials emphasize that due to the persistent threat, the situation within the grid remains dynamic. To obtain up-to-date information regarding blackout schedules, citizens should monitor the official resources of regional distribution system operators.
During periods when electricity is available, consumers are urged to use resources as efficiently as possible. This will help reduce the strain on a system that is currently operating under significant deficit conditions.
