Consumption restrictions will be applied across Ukrainian regions due to hostile attacks
On Monday, October 27, forced electricity supply restrictions will be introduced for all categories of consumers in certain regions of the state. The measures will remain in effect throughout the day due to damage inflicted on critical infrastructure facilities by previous enemy strikes. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Ukrenergo.
Power engineers are forced to implement special measures to stabilize the balance within the national grid. This decision is driven by the destruction caused by large-scale shelling from russia targeting key power generation and transmission facilities.
Capacity restriction schedules for industrial enterprises will be active from 06:00 to 23:59. Industrial facilities are required to comply with established limits to reduce pressure on the grid.
Hourly outage schedules for households
In addition to the industrial sector, restrictions will affect residential consumers in designated regions. Outage schedules will similarly be implemented from 06:00 to 23:59.
The scope of restrictions for the population will range from 1.5 to 2.5 queues simultaneously. Exact hours of electricity supply interruptions in each specific region are determined by local distribution system operators.
Up-to-date information from regional power operators
The situation within the integrated energy system remains dynamic due to the ongoing threat of further attacks. Citizens are urged to monitor operational updates through official web resources of regional distribution companies.
Consumers are asked to use electrical appliances sparingly during periods when power is restored according to the schedule. Efficient consumption helps energy specialists maintain the system in a balanced state.
