President Vladimir Zelensky spoke about the strike on the facilities of the Russian military-industrial complex in the city of Cheboksary.

Last night, there were combat launches of F-5 Flamingo cruise missiles as part of the Armed Forces Deep Strike operation against several enemy targets, in particular against objects of the military-industrial complex in Cheboksary,” the report said.
“Our long-range sanctions continue to fairly act in response to Russian strikes,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
The Head of State stressed that the Ukrainian “flamingos” covered a distance of more than 1,500 kilometers.
“In the affected military production produced relay protection systems, automation, low-voltage equipment. The plant supplied navigation elements for the Russian Navy, the rocket industry, aviation and armored vehicles. Everything that the Russians use in the war against us is against Ukraine.
Russia must end its war and move on to real diplomacy. We made our offer. Glory to Ukraine!” he concluded.
Earlier it was reported that on the night of May 5, a series of explosions were heard in Russian Cheboksary, presumably the target was a plant producing navigation modules for the armament of the Russian Federation.
Missile danger was declared immediately in 18 regions of Russia, in particular in Siberia, and dozens of airports limited work.
