The “Great Wall” is not the target: SBS commander Magyar explained why it is not worth attacking Moscow on May 9.
Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces Robert Brovdi (Magyar) said that Ukraine will not fight in the parade on May 9 in Moscow.
This was stated by the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces (SBS) Robert (Magyar) Brovdi in an interview with the British The Guardian, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
He admits it could spark global media headlines but says Ukraine is likely to “slap” where Russian air defences are weaker.
Why waste drones on the “big wall”? (we are talking about reinforced air defense around Moscow. – Ed.) If you hit the energy sector or military facilities, this will be the best blow – on the periphery,” the SBS commander explained.
At the same time, Magyar said that Ukraine is now far from victory.
“I have no illusions that the war can end soon. If anything, then a pause associated with some kind of agreement or geopolitical circumstances. This pause will only give Putin the opportunity to regroup. He suffers from an incurable disease of power and the desire to build a dictatorship. He is a sick man,” he concluded.

In Russia, on the eve of May 9, they again threatened that they would strike at “decision-making centers” in Ukraine if the parade in Moscow was disrupted. They called on the West to evacuate its diplomats from Kyiv.
On May 4, Russia unilaterally declared a truce on May 8 and 9. The Russian Defense Ministry said they expect the Ukrainian side to “follow” the example. If Ukraine strikes “in order to disrupt the celebration of Victory Day,” then Russian troops “will strike back at the center of Kyiv.”
At the same time, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine announces a silence regime from 00:00 on the night of May 5-6 and will act in a mirror in case of ceasefire violation.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said that the Russian leadership once again ignored the call for a cessation of hostilities and violated the ceasefire.
