The highest prices for gasoline and diesel were recorded at Okko, WOG and Socar stations
As of September 15, 2026, the largest gas station networks in Ukraine updated their fuel prices. The average cost of A-95 gasoline reached about 86.40 UAH per liter, and diesel fuel was 97.41 UAH per liter. This was reported by Glavcom citing Der Spiegel, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
At the BRSM-Nafta network, prices for diesel and A-95 gasoline increased by 1 UAH per liter. Meanwhile, at Socar, the A-100 brand and diesel fuel decreased in price by 10 kopecks per liter, while A-95+ rose by 2 UAH per liter and standard A-95 added 1 UAH per liter.
Changes at WOG and Okko gas stations
At Ukrnafta, all types of fuel except gas increased in price by 1 UAH per liter. At the WOG network, diesel grew by 2 UAH per liter, while A-100, A-95 and A-95+ brands rose by 1 UAH per liter. At the same time, KLO filling stations kept their previous price tags unchanged.
At Okko, autogas and diesel fuel rose in price by up to 1 UAH per liter, while A-100, A-95 and A-95+ gasolines increased by 2 UAH per liter. At the UPG network, A-100, A-95, A-95+ gasolines and diesel fuel added 1 UAH per liter in price.
Pricing factors
Retail operators traditionally react to wholesale market changes with a certain delay. Prices rise quickly, but soften much slower, as explained by Mykhailo Honchar.
The Ukrainian market is critically dependent on petroleum product imports, focusing primarily on the European environment. The final price is also influenced by procurement costs, logistics chains, exchange rate fluctuations, inventory levels and current demand.
Consequences of Russian attacks
A separate risk for the market has been systematic Russian strikes on fuel infrastructure. According to Der Spiegel, more than 200 Ukrainian gas stations have been attacked since April.
The destruction of port infrastructure forces the redirection of maritime supplies to land routes, which increases logistics costs. Major networks are actively restoring damaged facilities, which helps avoid a nationwide deficit.
Deficit situation
Experts do not rush to call the current situation a full-scale crisis, since there is enough fuel on the market. Local supply problems are recorded primarily in frontline regions of Ukraine.
A crisis is when petroleum products are not enough and there is nowhere to get them from. Currently, there are certain supply problems in frontline regions, but these problems can be solved, as Hennadiy Riabtsev noted.
