The Czech Republic plans to provide Ukraine with assistance ahead of the winter season, particularly in restoring the energy sector. This was reported by Ukrinform, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The Czech government intends to support Ukraine’s energy sector ahead of the cold weather and is preparing a visit by a delegation of entrepreneurs. First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Czechia Karel Havlíček announced this on social media platform X.
The Czech official discussed bilateral cooperation with Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine — Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal. The parties touched upon joint projects in the fields of industry, research, and development.
Czech companies to be involved in reconstruction
Karel Havlíček confirmed plans to lead a mission of Czech manufacturers during a trip to Ukraine in the autumn. The purpose of the visit will be to integrate businesses into the reconstruction process of damaged facilities.
In addition, the Czech authorities have expanded financial support tools for enterprises cooperating with the Ukrainian market. Previously, Prague delivered 35 consignments of specialized equipment for the energy system to the Ukrainian side.
