President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has tasked the Ministry of Defence and the Defence Forces with auditing agreements with partners. Strengthening air defence and anti-ballistic protection before the winter period has been identified as a key priority.
This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The Head of State emphasised the need for coordinated work between agencies and strict oversight of the fulfilment of obligations by international partners. Particular attention is being paid to the efficiency of implementing existing agreements.
Defence strategy priorities
The further development of long-range strike capabilities has been designated as a specific focus area. The President expressed hope for the intensification of these operations under the leadership of Yevhenii Khmara.
Regarding troop recruitment, the development of systemic solutions for mobilisation measures and contract service is required. Changes in approaches to rotations and improvements in the organisation of internal processes within units are expected.
